The largest solar tracking system in Alice Springs will be launched today when the Chief Executive of Northern Territory Airports Ian Kew and Director of Solar Cities Michael Ward cut the ribbon on the Alice Springs Airport's solar power station. "This installation is the first of its kind in the southern hemisphere andcomprises 28 impressive SolFocus arrays, each eight metres wide and seven metres high," he said.
