Alice Springs Airport
The Alice Springs Airport has two positions that will contribute to the safe operation of the airport(s) through inspecting, reporting and monitoring of the operational condition of Alice Springs Airport (primarily) and Tennant Creek Airport (leave relief).
Aerodrome Reporting Officer (ARO)
The main focus of the ARO role is to contribute to the safe operation of the airport through inspecting, reporting and monitoring the condition of the airside of the airport. We are looking for a person who can work independently and have the ability to manage the day to day safety, environment and security aspects of the airport in accordance with regulations. You will be required to respond to aerodrome and terminal emergencies and have effective communications with all stakeholders. You may already be working in or around an airport and are ready to take the next step in your career. Experience or knowledge in CASA and other relevant aviation legislation, aerodrome emergency planning, airside and terminal operations will be an advantage.
Groundsperson/Aerodrome Reporting Officer (ARO)
This role is for a Groundsperson that has the skillset to be trained as an ARO. The primary purpose of the role is to assist with carrying out the day to day maintenance of airport grounds infrastructure at Alice Springs Airport and at Tennant Creek Airport (on occasion). Ensure that relevant safety, security and environmental Regulations, company policies and procedures are implemented and enforced. The responsibilities include but not limited to undertaking repairs and general maintenance, mowing and general ground care, operation of plant and equipment.
